Naples Republican women press RNC Co-Chair Sharon Day to unify party and messaging
Day says grassroots must get out message to support Rick Scott, blast Obamacare
Naples, a solidly Republican stronghold with deep-pocket political donors, may be one of the last places where Republican National Committee Co-Chair Sharon Day expected to meet a tough crowd.
But Day got a barrage of tough questions Thursday evening from a crowd of more than 100 of Collier County’s grassroots Republican leaders, some of whom who pressed her on why the RNC isn’t more effectively unifying the party and coming up with better strategies to get Republican messaging out.
